Rabbi Alan Wilkinson
Rabbinic Leader
Rabbi Alan Wilkinson has been involved in communal activities since his student days.
Rabbi Wilkinson studied Liberal Arts at Harvard University, where he also had the opportunity to learn from Rabbi Isadore Twerski ztl and Rav J.B. Soloveichik ztl. At Leicester University, where he studied Law, he established a Hillel House for the Jewish students. Additionally, he studied at the London School of Economics, the College of Law and the University of Greenwich. During this time Rabbi Wilkinson and his wife, Ruth were the child and youth directors of Mill Hill Synagogue. Rabbi Wilkinson is a solicitor of the Senior Courts of England and Wales (non-practising). On being admitted as a solicitor, he worked in private practice, before becoming the Director of Legal Affairs and Compliance for a London Stock Exchange listed financial services company. More recently he has been involved in education and training, heading the Law School at a London University and currently being the Senior External Examiner at the University of Law.
Communally, Rabbi Wilkinson has been involved in education both formally and informally. He has been a United Synagogue Youth Officer, Head Teacher at Chedarim and a Kodesh teacher at several primary schools. He has also worked within the Kashrus Department at the United Synagogue, most notably ensuring the Kashrus of Kensington Palace for VIP events.
Rabbi Wilkinson was awarded his smicha in 2014. He joined the Chaplaincy Team at Great Ormond Street Hospital in 2015 and North Middlesex Hospital in 2018. He enjoys writing and regularly contributes divrei Torah to a range of publications.
Rabbi Wilkinson is married to Ruth, who has taught in Jewish schools for over 35 years, most recently as the Deputy Headteacher at Mathilda Marks Kennedy School. They have two children and six grandchildren (and a dog).”

Married to Paul, they have five children from ages 16-24, one of whom is married. Annette is a solicitor and has many years’ experience working with schools in fundraising and as a Governor.”

Married with two married children and one grandchild, David is a Financial Consultant and has been involved in shul management for over 25 years,
Malcolm Greenbaum
Finance
Married with three children and one grandchild Malcolm is a Chartered Accountant and Chartered Tax Advisor and has been involved in shul finances for over 25 years. He also holds a private pilot’s licence.
Gabbayim Rota
In order to involve as many suitable people as possible in our services we are planning a rota of gabbayim under the stewardship of our executive gabbay Howard Palmer.
